The hostel is literally 3 minutes from the Duomo so the location is perfect. Claudio and Lorenzo were really helpful every time, I could count on their help. Our room was really nice, simple but clean and I loved the atmosphere. The windows were to an inner backyard so we didn't have a view on the Duomo like in the pictures (I think none of the rooms has because of the location) but there wasn't any street noise either. The breakfast is simple but OK, and they also have a nice small inner "garden" with some chairs and you can use the ironing free of charge. Thank you!

I am so glad we chose to stay at B&B Tourist House Ghiberti. I really couldn't fault it at all. We wanted somewhere central to stay where we could walk to all the attractions but without the noise usually associated with being so central. We are getting married in Tuscany next year so wanted to find somewhere that we could recommend to our friends and family and we certainly found that.

Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable with good wifi.

There was a good selection at breakfast and the green tea cake was delicious.

We will definitely be back.

We are so grateful to have stayed at this lovely B&B in downtown Florence. We were looking for a place to stay that would be near our son who is studying in Florence, and would be comfortable for the last 3 days of our trip to Italy. Our hosts, the Ghiberti family, were extremely helpful, gracious and welcoming! We had a very large (and quiet) room, beautifully decorated, very comfortable bed, and a desk with computer & DVD player! The bathroom was spacious and very clean...we especially enjoyed using the large, warm towels from the warming rack when we got out of the shower! The breakfast room was nicely decorated and offered a wide variety of breakfast treats to choose from(even yogurt!), including juices, teas, coffee, delicious baked breads and muffins, tasty pastries to fresh cheeses and meats! This B &B also offers more amenities than you'd expect to find (including a sauna and a Jacuzzi) for an excellent low price! :) We would definitely stay there again if we ever get back to Italy and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a B&B for their vacation or business trip!

Room tip: Our room was off to the left of the reception area and was extremely quiet - could not hear any noise from downtown Florence!

What an amazing little property, I'm so glad we found it! This was by far our favorite property that we stayed at while in Italy. The rooms were spacious, the location ideal, and our hosts were excellent. Our room was decorated in a very unique way, and was very comfortable. We heard no noises at night and slept very well. Good Wifi, and the breakfast was more than enough for us. Would definitely recommend, and will stay here again if I am back in Venice!

We rented two rooms which were large, clean, and well appointed. The location is very conveniently located in central Florence. Breakfast was good with pastries, deli meats, juices, etc. The staff was polite and efficient, but lacked warmth and friendliness we expected from a B&B. Overall a good value for the price.
