When the cab dropped us off, he said the hotel was down there, an alley. It is very easy to walk right by the hotel entrance. We had a room with a loft and was very nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was average. This hotel has great location. Everything is a very easy walk away. Unfortunately our room was on the alley and was very loud starting about 5 am with deliveries and garbage pick up, even though we were on the 4th floor. The lounge was great, overlooking the square.

If you're looking for a prime spot in Florence for a quick stop, Relais Uffizi is a pleasant stay. The entrance is an alley down an alley way, and don't be surprised if after you check-in, you're directed to another building. The hotel's major assets are the location and the people/service. You can't beat it. Beds and pillows aren't "American plush" at all, but the rooms are clean and safe. As a solo traveler, it was one of my best sleeps. The staff is ready to help you haul your luggage up some stairs and guide you to the elevators. Tight spaces here, but go past the check-in desk for an amazing view. If it's your first time in Florence, give yourself plenty of extra time to find your destinations. Enjoy your trip!

this hotel claims to be wheelchair accessible but is not. Large step to get into hotel with no ramp. Breakfast room is up a flight of stairs with n o access for wheelchair. Bathroom lacks grab bars. Total misrepresentation to persons who have mobility limitations.

The only really excelent thing about the hotel is the location, absolutely perfect, two steps away from all the main atractions of Firenze. The hotel is located in an alley very difficult to find. The car doesn t get to the door of the hotel and you have to drag your luggage through the very dirty and smelly alley. It s a historic building but it isn t really well cared for, it s old and not very clean. It was very hot in Firenze and the air conditioning wasn t working properly and WiFi was non existant.

This hotel had great reviews, which is why we picked it. The rooms were spacious and had nice dishes and other amenities. The bed was comfortable. We were in a secondary building, the rooms had a funny smell and our view was the back of a nearby building, the wifi didn't work in the bedrooms, and only in a small sitting room. These are minor complaints. We asked for help with how to get train tickets, since we had been driven by family or taxi up until then, but the people at the desk were not helpful. Again, minor, we took care of it.
