What a lovely and charming hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious. The decor and art were beautiful and unique. It was close walking distance to the heart of Florence making it a convenient place to stay. We absolutely enjoyed our stay, and we would definitely come back.

We had a rental car so we’re limited in places we could stay. We parked our auto around the corner in a garage, so easy to get to hotel from there.
Via Faenza smells like a sewer. Not sure if something recently happened in the area, but this was a real turn off. Our room was small, but enough for the two nights we stayed there. Roomy bathroom with European style shower. Coffee maker only offered instant coffee.
We had the hotel breakfast at $8EU/person and offered quite a large selection. I was surprised to learn at the hotel (not while making our reservation) of the $6EU/night per person room fee. The room was $148EU and was supposed to include everything, so this additional fee surprised me.
Well located. Only a few blocks from the markets and the Duomo, with lots of restaurant options. Also walking distance to Santa Maria Novella train station.
Our room was on the first floor which you can access by stairs or an elevator. I didn’t like that we were awakened every morning by clanking dishes and loud chatter from the kitchen. It seemed our room was right above the kitchen. Perhaps the staff should be told to be more quiet in the morning hours. I like to sleep in, especially on vacation. Not sure if I’d stay here again.

Absolutely amazing stay here - rooms were cozy, always spotlessly clean, the receptionists were always very friendly, the hotel had a very nice feel to it, the breakfast was delicious and the location was perfect. We would 100% come back here if we were to return to Florence.

What a lovely hotel, situated in such a convenient and quaint location. Nearby restaurants and ice cream parlours galore, you can easily walk to the centre of Florence and the Duomo within 7-8 minutes. Beatrice was a very accommodating receptionist here and the staff were generally friendly (bar one slightly rude!). The rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. We would highly recommend!

First time in Florence. Chose this hotel for our 4 night stay as we wanted an authentic Italian feel & location looked good. We certainly weren't disappointed. Location is great, 5 minutes walk from the train station & about a 10 minute walk to the Duomo. Very friendly staff on the reception desk & at breakfast. Breakfast was absolutely worth it, plenty of choice both hot & cold. Room was lovely, nice big comfortable bed, large tv, large shower which was powerful & great temperature. Kettle & tea & coffee facilities provided. Fridge in room & large wardrobe. Maid service was excellent, nice clean fresh towels & bed made up. Toiletries were provided. Fresh water & snacks provided in reception area was a nice touch. We were floor 2 & a lift is available if required. Would 100% recommend this hotel, we debated between this one & a more modern one but we are so pleased we went with the authentic choice. Sad to leave but we've had a fabulous time.
