Could have not been nicer or more accommodating, I made a huge error when booking a hotel that was beautiful but 90 minutes outside of Florence. In a panic we found this beautiful hotel through the American Express Concierge service. They could see that we were frazzled when we arrived and took us in as their family. They put our family in two adjoining suites that were gorgeous. The hotel itself is beautiful and well located, it is in a quite are of Florence but only a 10-15 minute walk to the sites. The staff gave us a great map and directed us to the best sites. It was an amazing experience.

Room tip: If you have a family rooms 130 & 132 are perfect, shared entrance, private rooms

We stayed for a total of 3 nights but would love to stay longer. The hotel had lovely decor in all areas including outdoor, reception and bar/restaurant and rooms. The room itself was of high quality and loved the fact that you had a separate lounge from the main bedroom area. You get complimentary tea bags (multiple flavours) and kettle in your room which I think is a quality touch. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Would recommend others to stay here.

Nice clean hotel. I had a small single room but it was really nice and toilet was big with a shower and bath. It's very clean and nice staff. A 5 minute walk to the centre. Ideal so you can discover the better food! Go to Al Tranvai for Italian food and wine like it's meant to be. Centre of Florence is a tourist trap!

Great hotel situated just far enough from the hubbub of the centre of Florence and just a few metres from the river. We have stayed many times and it is very comfortable with excellent staff who have been there for many years. The rooms are nice but maybe a little small for some people but we stayed in a junior suite on this visit which was fine, although the AC was a little noisy. Breakfast is plentiful and one can sit and start the day outside enjoying a good coffee in beautiful, peaceful surroundings. Easily accessible within on-site parking which is a bit expensive but this is a hotel I would recommend.

The hotel has been beautifully restored to give you a classic Italian experience. The grounds are gorgeous and it was so relaxing just to sit and enjoy the quiet area.
there isn't much parking if you have a car.
There are different size rooms and layouts. Nice modern bathrooms. No irons. Comfortable beds with good linens. The rooms all have AC. There are two different wings each with their own elevator.
Beautiful solarium for dining. Food was really good and moderately priced. The breakfast buffet had a good variety. Also there is a small small bar just off the lobby. There are a few restaurants in the area but they close on Sunday.
Staff spoke very good English, which was nice for getting directions. It is walking distance to the Duomo and touristy areas.
I'd highly recommend this hotel.
