Charming and very attractive boutique hotel located not too far to walk from the main attractions of Florence. Alternatively a taxi takes only seconds to arrive and the cost is minimal compared with other cities.
Nice bar and dining area with a small al fresco area which is charming for a leisurely breakfast. Breakfast is generally good, especially the fresh orange juice. We only tried the dinner menu once because we were in central Florence for dinner on other occasions. The menu was good and what we had was well served and prepared. However, we found most menus in Florence were all pretty similar.
Our "suite" was very small compared with other hotels. We felt it would have been more comfortable if it had been turned into a single room instead of a sitting area and sleeping area. The out look was of a small quiet street. There are probably better rooms than ours so suggest other people ask for one with a balcony overlooking the garden.
Concierge service was lacking in personal considerations. In fact mostly they seemed slightly resentful if you asked them to book a tour, private car or other amenities. They preferred to just hand out a simple brochure and expected us to make the arrangements ourselves. Maybe this is usual for Italy, but it was new to us. However, they were very good about charging our electric scooter in the lobby.

Room Tip: A room overlooking the small garden would probably be better than ours was.

This hotel has a very modern architecture. It is located in a place known for his handicraft.
The strange thing that you notice is that the person who shows you the room has to indicate where you can switch the lights on and off: it is behind the head of the bed. Very discreet but very difficult to find when you lie on the bed. A detail of course.
Otherwise I have to say that the wifi was functioning pretty fast, one thing that is important for professional use.
The people are very kind, and smiling. I was here just for one night, and for the evening barbecue, this one was perfectly correct.

It is a classy hotel, it raises mostly to the standards of a 5* hotel. If you're looking for a true Italian experience, this isn't the right place, the personnel is too uptight. Also, the room we're we stayed in wasn't soundproofed, the noise from the street could be heard.

My husband and I celebrated our 32nd wedding anniversary in Italy and this was by far our favorite hotel. The room was large, the bed was super comfortable and the staff were very helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Room Tip: We were on the third floor. The room was perfect.

This was our favorite hotel in Italy! The room was big and comfortable. The beds pillows and sheets where great. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the breakfast was awesome. If I go back to Florence I will definitely stay here again.
