We popped into this place right after climbing the Duomo. Looked good because it wasn't your typical looking touristy joint. It was a great choice.
The staff was super friendly and accommodated our group of five quickly.
We ordered the XL board of meat, cheese and finger sandwiches and a bresola dish. Both were excellent with top quality cured meat, aged parmigiano reggiano and another semi hard cheese with a delicious marmalade.
Our hostess also brought over a complimentary bruschetta with fresh burrata and tomato sauce.
The wine by the glass selection was deep and varied with barolo, amarone, Nero d'avola etc.
Total bill was less than $100.
If you get the chance to duck in here take it. You won't be disappointed.
Oh there's a great little store tucked in the back that sells wine and a lot of the products they use.
