This hotel is very beautiful and luxurious. It’s quite quaint but never felt over crowded. The wellness spa is really relaxing and a great way to start the day. Its in a very picturesque setting by the river and takes about 30 mins to walk to downtown. The staff are all really friendly and helpful. This is a perfect stay for a romantic couples retreat. I red reviews of the hotel before visiting it with my family. I must say that this hotel fulfilled all of my criterias. Wonderful and service minded staff. Very kind and playful with all my children. Clean and stylish. The pool was great and the food was as expected (considering the italian cuisine). I highly recommend this hotel for families with small children.

You get what you pay for. Lovely hotel just outside of the center of Florence. 5 min bike ride. Very lovely
The spa was ok, better than most spas but moderate, one wet sauna, one hot sauna and an indoor pool.

The staff were lovely and this is a really nice place to stay in a trip to Florence.

We spent 9 days at the Ville sull'Arno. We selected the hotel for its great location: its only 2km from the city center (5-10 minute taxi ride to the city), so it is easy for sightseeing. The hotel is right at the Arno river, which makes it a great location for a morning run or a bike ride (you can get bikes at the hotel). Furthermore it is only 2km from the highway, i.e. trips to Tuscany /Chianti / San Gimignano etc. are very fast and convenient. The hotel staff was very helpful, friendly and service-oriented "with a smile" all the time. The rooms are not very large but good enough for 3 people (we had a teenage daughter) and clean. Although the hotel is close to the river, there were hardly any mosquitos, flies etc. The breakfast buffet offers everything you desire. If you have dinner at the restaurant, you need to try the buffola caprese. Its the best we ever had. A great stay! However all the great amenities come at a price, especially during the summer holiday season.
