This was just so central to everything we wanted to see that we walked around in the daytime and evening.

This was my first view of the David... the fake David, but across the way is a stage of sculptures that are there to be admired and awed! The Rape of the Sabine Women is amazing in person!

Unfortunately, Neptune was covered for maintenance, so I couldn't also enjoy its splendor.

During the day on Saturday, there were street vendors around the square that could be negotiated into some good prices.

This area was witness to most of the city's most important historical events. In particular, you should look for the circle making the spot that Savonarola was executed.

Historical and amazing, but like most of this sparkling city, this piazza is overrun by tourists. Probably will just get worse. Def worth visiting, though.

The piazza is worth a visit. I do not recommend the restaurants - overpriced and the wait staff not very nice. One of the statues is under restoration so it was covered. Lots of tourist.

This is probably the most beautiful place in Florenze in front of Palazio Vechio and copy of Michelangelos David statue. Nice place to spend hour or two and relaxe after walking tour.
