Excellent hotel located on the Arno River very close to Ponte Vecchio. Every employee went above and beyond the call of duty to accommodate every request. It seemed like housekeeping came to our room three times each day. The rooms were modern and well appointed. My only minor complaint is that an energy conservation system shuts off room power when you take your key, which makes it difficult to charge electronic devices.

This is an overdue review from a business trip late last year. My stay in Hotel Lungarno was was a delightfully charming experience. It is tucked away in an unbeatable location that overlooks the Arno and a few steps away from Ponte Vecchio. There are many restaurants around and is just a short walk to all the important landmarks. Entry to Ferragamo museum a short walk away is Free if you stay here and should not be missed especially for Ferragamo fans like me.

This Ferragamo owned hotel is part of the chain of Lungarno collection. It is tastefully decorated which gives it a warm cozy appeal good for business travellers or a romantic get away. Families are welcome too in their bigger and signature suite rooms that overlook the Arno river if your pockets can afford. The terrace on the lobby right on the side of the River Arno is a welcome retreat to relax and chill with a glass of wine after a day's work. The view at sunset is spectacular. They also have bikes for let.

The bed is wonderfully yours to sleep soundly and the bathroom with its supplies of Ferragamo signature toiletries are a treat. Though my room is small, it is enough for 1 or 2 people. Wifi works very well and service is impeccable. I just have to warn you of the lift that is extremely ancient and small but functional.

Breakfast is a must and I enjoyed the good quality food they served.

Everything was just perfect. My experience with Hotel Lungarno is simply hot but sweet.

We are currently staying at The Lungarno Hotel in Florence. The hotel overlooks the Arno River, a most breath-taking view of Florence. Sitting on the patio balcony of the hotel's restaurant is a wonderful way to start or end the day.
The rooms are large , bright and airy , with a huge shower. They come complete
with the expected comfortable beds and bedding.
The service here is impeccable , as you would hope to find at every 5 star hotel.
As a bonus, the filming of Dan Browns next movie is taking place in Forence at this time . The director and actors are staying here, another testament to the high quality at The Lungarno.

For positives, you can't beat the location as it is very close to the Ponte Veccio Bridge. The staff was also very accommodating and pleasant.

We were given the Relaxing Room which must be their Honeymoon suite. It was very large well appointed and had two showers in one large room. We also had three balconies that were nice but too small to do anything but stand.

The negative part was the very loud noise from the street below. If you are a light sleeper it will negate the beautiful room.

We brought this up to the hotel on first night and they offered a side facing room but we felt that would be only marginally better and roughed it out the first night. To their credit they moved us for two nights to a river facing room and that was much quieter.

The other issue is that they would not turn on the air conditioning until mid May. We suffered for three nights because they told us not to open our windows because ants are able to come in.

Breakfast was sub par and 35 Euros per person.

All in all this hotel was overpriced. Too bad because the staff was very nice.

Our travel booked us at this hotel ( I had requested that we overlook the Arno).
What a great choice.
It is superb.
Our room overlooked the Arno. The rooms is lovely (blue and white decor-very inviting).
The reception was delightful. The front desk staff and concierge were so pleasant. They made us feel very welcome.
There is a fantastic lounge area where you can order cocktails and appetizers while looking outside. They have jazz playing in the background that makes it even more relaxing.
The hotel is in the perfect location. Within walking distance from everything but tucked in a side street so you have quiet and privacy.
A MUST place to stay.

Room tip: Accessibility, restaurant, lounge, quiet, clean, friendly
