“No Gates of Paridise”
Reviewed 3 May 2012

Ghoberti's, Gates of Paradise, are not on display. The are under restoration. Since tyhis museum is not on the Firenze Card, I would avoid this extra fee of 6 Euro

“Often-missed Gem Located Behind the Duomo”
Reviewed 26 April 2012

This is a beautiful little museum tucked behind the Duomo that houses such masterworks as Donatello's wooden sculpture of Mary Magdalane and Michelangelo's Pieta. You can stare at these sculptures for hours, marveling at the intricate detail. Look closely at the face of Joseph in Michelangelo's Pieta, it's said to be a self image of Michelangelo.

“Included in the Combi ticket!”

Small museum but worth viewing in combination with the rest as it has Donatello's Magdalene Penitente. Amazing!
