One of the most beautiful hotels we have stayed in. Our room was large, clean and had a small window with a nice view over the pool and out to the coast.

The hotel is small so it doesn't get busy and has an exclusive feel. Our favorite part was the pool and gardens which are meticulously kept and have a fantastic view over the coast.

The breakfasts on the terrace are delicious and the atmosphere is nice and relaxed.

All of the staff were excellent, with a special mention to the friendly Irene, who helped us with our booking and any questions we had while we were there.

Only negative were the scales in the bathroom as they confirmed how much weight we'd put on eating all of the delicious Sicilian food.

We will stay here when we return to Taormina.

This is a stunning hotel with outstanding staff, but one or two small niggles. Our room was well decorated, but situated right by the entrance and busy main road. The noise when using the balcony was really a bit obtrusive. I mentioned this to the reception who told me that they may have a different room available two day's hence, but after unpacking and spending a couple of days in the room it seemed like a bit of an inconvenience.
There wasn't much wardrobe space and the room, although not the cheapest, had some problems which were quickly and efficiently resolved. Wi-fi was also sporadic, requiring code.
That's the bad bits and the good parts massively outweigh the poor. The building and views are sensational and the staff are excellent – especially Mary, Francesco and Romain. Breakfast choice is good but you need to request items such as toast, eggs and fresh juice. Breakfast buffet is taken on the roof terrace overlooking the sea and offer breathtaking views and scenery. The main street Corso Umberto is literally a hundred metres away, offering a wide choice of cafes and restaurants plus quite a few upmarket shops. There is a also a cable car point just around the corner where you can take a trip to the beach below. Cheap and efficient too.. I'd recommend the Ashbee and, if we returned, might pay a little more for a sea view room. All in all a great hotel

Room Tip: Try and get a room away from the road

One of the most beautifull hotel we did. The view is wonderfull, amazing from every where especially from the swimming pool. Decoration is very nice, luxurious and comfortable room. At your arrival, you can enjoy a very good welcome cocktail on the roof of the hotel, with an amazing view. The breakfast buffet is at the same place, with a huge choice, good products, nice presentration and very carefull attention to the customer. We went also to the gastronomic restaurant, nothing to say: very well elaborated plats with perfect matching wines. The location is just perfect to visit. Thanks for this wonderfull stay. We plan to come back.

I stayed at this hotel with my husband for 11 nights recently. The Ashbee is set in secluded, private, beautiful and peaceful gardens with a lovely pool which is heated. The public areas provide the opportunity to relax and recharge both inside and outdoors. The staff are all very helpful without being intrusive, breakfasts superb and all the recommendations made by reception staff were perfect for us. Our bedroom was lovely and much nicer than online photos suggested. The vibrant town centre is a few steps away and the pick up bus centre for tours is nearby. We had a very varied holiday here. I would strongly recommend this hotel.

Stunning setting, having arrived late at night after quite an "interesting" drive from Catania airport it immediately made us feel relaxed and the welcome cocktails on the flower filled terrace, on a warm evening, with spectacular views down to the sea below is a wonderful memory that will stay with me. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Very pleasant pool area which is kept immaculate. Our room was small but it was one of the cheapest ones, it would have been nice to have a balcony but we did have a sea view. Lots of sitting areas and space to relax inside or outside in the lovely jasmine scented gardens and strolling distance to all the attractions of Taormina.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view
