A completely renewed and very LARGE, very BRIGHT apartment, 5 min far (by walking) from the city center and 8 from the old town. Perfect for a couple, it's fully equipped for an unforgettable stay in Sicily! Free use of two foldable bicycles!
It's located in a central but quiet area called 'Borgata', from witch is possible to reach by walking everything you could need or want to see. It's very close to shops, restaurants, pizzerias. Reaching the old town (Ortigia) would take no more than 8 minutes! The train station is 12 min. far. Downstairs you'll find many cafes, bakery shop, groceries...

Great apartment in Siricusa, close to Ortegia
Marco, we thoroughly enjoyed staying in your apartment. It was comfortable, nicely designed and in an excellent location. Having laundry was a bonus for us. Thank you for your many restaurant/cafe recommendations, we enjoyed them all. All the best, Doug

Excellent stay
The flat has been refurbished to a very high standard and is only about ten minutes walk from Ortiga and also near to the train and bus station. We travelled by train which was very easy but there is parking just outside the flat if you are travelling by car.

Quiet apartment
Marco was a very helpful host. There is a grocery store two blocks from the apartment. The apartment is very quiet. We enjoyed walking from the apartment to Siracusa's sites.

Excellent accommodation for relaxing or to explore
Euripide s (Marco) was an excellent host, he meet us when we arrived and explained the facilities of the flat/apartment - the air-conditioning, washing machine, waste recycling - he presented us with a free sample of his wonderful organic olive oil and made many recommendations about where we could purchase good bread, fruit and the best places to eat that fitted with our dietary requirements (I am vegetarian). He was very helpful and welcoming.
The apartment was exactly like the photographs, cool, comfortable and well supplied (I found the bed especially comfortable, I have a bad back, but had no problems here) - Marco also left some bottled water and prosecco for us in the fridge. We found the wifi was slow at times, but it was good to relax without checking emails from work or social media.
It was a short but interesting walk to Ortygia and every night we walked into this amazing area to find a different restaurant, different route through the twisting streets, or to soak up the evening atmosphere in the Piazza Duomo. It was lovely to be so close, but also nice to be 10 minutes away from the crowds. We also walked easily to the Archaeological Park (20 minutes) and the Archaeological Museum (10 minutes). The apartment is very well situated for all these attractions. We had hired a car to visit Ragusa and Noto, it was quite easy to navigate from the motorway (E45) into Siracusa to the apartment (along the SS124) and we found the apartment easily on the first day we arrived. We parked the car outside the apartment on Via Epicarmo, it was safe there and had no parking restrictions.
I had a bad reaction to some Mosquito bites and Marco was there to recommend the local Pharmacy and he would have helped if I had needed medical attention. He messaged me to be sure I was recovering. I would highly recommend Marco and his apartment.

Un tres joli pied à terre
Nous étions en famille dans cette très belle ville à la recherche d'un lieu contemporain et sans surprise.
Vous trouverez dans cet appartement de quoi etre heureux avec une pièce à vivre lumineuse, une jolie chambre et une petite salle de bain.
Tout est moderne et conforme aux photos.
Le plus est indéniablement Marco votre hôte qui sera aux petits soins pour vous. Il nous a accueilli comme si l'on etait de la famille et à meme ete jusqu'a nous organiser le rv avec un docteur dont ma fille avait besoin.

A polished gem
Situated just outside the border of Ortigia, and an easy ten minute walk from both bus and train terminals, this little apartment is a perfect home away from home. It has recently been finished to a tasteful standard, is in a secure and attractive building, is close to supermarkets, fruit stalls, cafes, panini stands and even has a mobile delicatessen which parks out the front each day.
Add to this your host Marco, for whom nothing was too much trouble, and you have the ideal mix. He lives in the same building. He texted every now and then to see if we were ok, and provided us with some extra linen when the need arose. There was bottled water ( as the local water doesn't taste too good) , as well as some locally roasted coffee on our arrival.

We loved staying in this flat in Syracuse for our 6 day visit to the city.
The flat is immaculate, very comfortable and is very well equipped. It is very convenient for everything. It is only a 10 minute walk to Ortigia (which we visited every day), the railway/bus station and the archaeological park. Marco was very welcoming and helpful and made sure that we had everything we needed. He gave us some brilliant tips about cafes and restaurants and places to visit. We highly recommend this flat. Thank you Marco.

Great apartment with a very friendly host.
Marcus was a great host. He offered lots of suggestions of places to visit and restaurants to try. I left my jacket on the bus we travelled on to get to Marcus's apartment and he managed to get it back for me.
The apartment was well situated for everything in Siracusa and we found it very clean and comfortable. There was plenty of shampoo, shower gel, tea, coffee etc for us to use.
Marcus was always on hand if we needed him for anything.
