We really enjoyed walking around the botanical garden.
A beautiful, serene, relaxing setting in the middle of vibrant Palermo...

“The beautiful Botanic garden buildings worth the entry fee”
Reviewed 16 March 2012

A quiet green oasis in a normally noisy urban environment .. nice long paths with lots of citrus trees. Do not miss the beautiful buildings at the front of the gardens ... one dedicated to the study of Palms and the other the old administration building that has a small display of old pictures and earlier administrators.. columns are beautiful.

“very interesting”
Reviewed 13 March 2012

One of the oldest and richest botanical gardens in europe. Facing the sea, just off "porta reale", one of the still existing gates of the old city, it's remarkable for the huge number of different varieties of plants and trees and the XVIII century building.

It is a big garden in the center of Palermo with lots of tall palms. OK, go for a walk.
