We arrived at seven without a booking- no problem.
‘ Food isn’t served till 7.30, sit down, have a drink’
So began a most enjoyable evening.
The restaurant is next to a church, the tables are spread out on the forecourt, and the steps provide a convenient place to sit and enjoy a drink whilst waiting for your table. The staff are friendly and speak good English.
The pizzas are huge, we were hard-pressed to finish them. Thin crust, fresh ingredients, delicious.
There is a good wine list, plus local and imported beers and a great espresso.
Well worth a visit

My wife and I had a great time eating pizza and drinking wine in a beautiful venue.

Shout out to Claudio for making great suggestions on pizza and wine. He spoke perfect English which made us feel very comfortable!!

We had to go twice. At the beginning of hour holiday and at the very end. They have one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten.
The service is messy, chaotic, it seems that nobody has any idea what they are doing (they reshuffle tables continuously, might ask you to move to another table (but offer you prosecco for it), lose track of which table orders what and run around with your dish) but it's totally worth it.
Beautiful location, great pizza, awesome pizza, fantastic pizza. On the day after, out of the fridge, it's still as fresh as the day before.
Don't go for the mozzarelline, they are frozen and nothing special; the bruschette on the other hand are worth it. But the pizza, the pizza is to die for.

We chanced upon Locanda Cerami while out for a walk and decided to dine there due to the beautiful setting. The tables outside are set in front of the steps of a beautiful church.

We were asked if we had a reservation and even without one this was no problem. The staff speak excellent English (among other languages) and Claudio was a superb host, recommending dishes and wine, chatting to us about where we came from and suggesting places to visit. The pizzas were excellent, really one of the finest, and the wine delicious. We had to wait a little longer for one pizza but the staff were very apologetic and it was no trouble.

The location, food, wine and friendly staff made this a memorable meal.

Came upon this great restaurant yesterday evening while walking around in the neighborhood of our hotel. Fantastic space - a piazza for al fresco dining set in front of an old church. Loved the vibe, mainly locals, nice atmosphere! And the food was great! I’ve actually been telling others about it all day. Had 2 different bruschetta- especially loved the first one with burrata and prosciutto. But the real stand out was the sliced smoked goose breast over arugula salad with lemon and parmigiana. The service was great, especially Claudio who was very personable and attentive. Highly recommended!
