How lucky we were to be staying in a hotel (dumpy hotel) right around the corner from this fantastic restaurant! The service from beginning to end was wonderful; helpful and friendly and willing to speak to us in slow Italian at our request. Very nice salad with savory tomatoes, delicious mozzarella and walnuts. Nice bottle of nero d'avola wine for a price that I thought must be per glass; but 12 euros bought us a bottle of this wine. Great pizza with crisp crust, flavorful mushrooms and my new favorite ingredient: acciughe!

I’ve read lot of good reviews of this place and that’s I’ve decided to try pizza there. First of all restaurant is very nice and cosy. Stuff is extremely helpful. We’ve ordered two pizzas - salami and crudo. We were suprised because it didn’t look like Sicilian pizza. There were too many ingredients and pizza base was wet. Maybe this was concidence that our pizza was not so great as everyone says, but we were a bit disappointed.

We went here on our first night and what a great little find it turned out to be. Order a pizzolo however the menu isn't in English so ask the waiter/waitress what the toppings are. It does get busy later on.

This place is a real tourist trap. I have no idea how this place got that many reviews, but it was aweful!

After a few days in Italy, you know what a good pizza is. This place offers the opposite... the same awful pizza as in any non-Italian country with low quality ingredients, semi to uncooked mushrooms... honestly i woukd rather not eat thab have a pizza like this.

Price - yes price is low, but quality is terrible.

Food - menu is too long and really looks like a middle of nowhere.menu. The pizza ingredients are all processed before cooking and not fresh.

Wine - the so called house wine is straight out of a paper cubbicle (saw that while going to the bathroom). Garanty for a headache

Service - low average... waiters were presenting the menu mechanically and like they were bored. Also very pushy to make u order more... they brought double of the starters while we said we wanted to share one.

Really the lowest point of the trip

Based on recommendations we had a quick dinner before going to the Teatro. Everyone ordered pizza - service was quick and pizzas were excellent.
