So I am an American married to a Sardinian and I therefore know good food ;-0) I brought some friends who were visiting Italy here not long ago, and the food is just amazing. Maria Carta is a creative chef who aims to please – her food is fresh and innovative – and she shows nothing less than the hospitality that the island is famous for. Plus, the restaurant itself provides a really nice atmosphere for a great evening. In short, if you’re in Cagliari, go eat there!

We first had a cocktail in the coffeeshop on the ground floor as we waited for the restaurant to open (only after 8) and got for free a plate of fresh fruits to go with it, so much nicer than a bowl of crisps... Trendy interior, lounge music.

Went upstairs 'round 8.30 and saw some more dressed up people having diner, nevertheless -only wearing shorts,flipflops and fleece sweater- we were kindly welcomed anyway. When we got our antipasti we were kinda blown away. So tasty, and good wine too. Also the secundi piatti were delicious. Friendly service, little wierd interior but i liked it including the soft jazzy music. We feared for the bill as this couldn't be as cheap as mentioned on the menu, but thats wat it was afterall.

Would return for sure.

We went to this restaurant because of the good reviews on Tripadvisor, but it was no good at all. A dark and too warm diningroom no good airco, outside it was 30 dgr), no view on the harbour (too far away, too much traffic). On top of that appeared the tagliata di manza to be a very greasy ribeye.

We stumbled upon this place by accident. It is a great place! We arrived early and the chef prepared a traditional Sardinian meal for us. It was amazing!!!! It's right across from the marina with good views. It's a coffee shop downstairs and a full service, sit down restaurant upstairs.

She made a special mussels and tomato dish for my daughter and the tuna ravioli was unbelievable. The other dish that surprised me was the appetizer dish with sliced meat, crackers, cheese, and honey. The cheese dipped in honey was very good!

It was all made to order, so it was a bit on the pricey side, but worth it!

Cagliari has one of the nicest mediterranean waterfront where just opened a design gourmet restaurant. Cool and cozy atmosphere and extremely good food. Go from thursday to saturday when chef Maria Carta prepares fish at the state of the art: raw or cooked. You will be amazed.
Good service and nice wine list. Huge glass window on the yachts and sailing boat.
