As an independent traveller, I was very nervous about staying at a resort. I had images of Ibiza and drunk obnoxious people falling around the place.
I was happy to be very wrong. The food was divine, roast suckling pig, traditional Sardinian dishes, fresh fish, gourmet desserts. Stayed in a Yacht room and was able to get beautiful sunrise views.
The beach is rocky, you'll need dive/sea shoes. The grounds are wild and there appears to be some old military outposts there. The water was clear and wonderful to dip in.
The hotel has a dive school and I got a refresher course and a cave dive for a very reasonable price.
Very happy and will pop back for a few days rest next year.More
