Great hotel very friendly and accommodating. Very well priced included breakfast and on the beach. We really enjoyed this town and the hotel was clean and very pleasant. Great breakfast buffet included in the rate.

This hotel is in a great position on the promenade opposite the beach and a 15 - 20 minute stroll to the beautiful old walled town where there were some lovely cobbled streets and lots of restaurants serving great food.
The staff at the hotel are extremely friendly and helpful, and the hotel is very clean and comfortable. There is a nice pool, which is also well looked after, with plenty of sunbeds and brollys.
I would have given 5 stars if we had been able to go there on a bed and breakfast basis, but the meals served in the evening were sometimes awful and sometimes pleasant. The evening meal has to be ordered at breakfast and the choices didn't bear much resemblence to any other Restaurant menu we saw there. The staff in the dining room are very friendly and helpful and did replace one of my meals but it was just as bad on the second try.

Just spent 2 very enjoyable weeks at the Florida. Staff all very helpful and pleasant. Reception all multi- lingual. Pool area and the 2 jacuzzi's excellent. On past reviews the food seems to be an issue, all I can say is you are in Sardinia don't expect pie and chips, it's a Mediterranean menu,of which they try to accommodate German,French,Italian and us Brits. 4 courses, salad bar to start, choice of 3 starters, 3 mains and at least 5 desserts. Head waiter is fantastic. They do ask you to choose starter and main at breakfast for the evening meal but it's no big deal, it's to minimise waste and help with speedy service.Don't forget it's a 3 star hotel and you get what you pay for. Bigger and better will cost you a lot more. On the resort itself,15 walk to the old town, very nice, sea crystal clear, gently sloping sea floor. Ice-cream to die for. Outside dining is expensive but supermarket prices cheap I.e. 660 ml bottle of Peroni €1 in restaurant €5 ! Would return.

Enjoyed the 2 weeks holiday, on a half board basis, at this hotel. The service was excellent, from the cleaning ladies, restaurant and reception staff. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Our room was pleasant with plenty of storage, comfortable beds and a nice bathroom. We hadn't paid extra for a seaview room and had hoped to maybe get a side sea view. However we overlooked a field at the back, a road and other buildings so this was a slight disappointment. Never the less it was very quiet at night so we settled in. We got the morning sun and shade in the afternoon.
We were allocated a table in the restaurant for the duration of our stay. This enabled us to chat with fellow diners and make several friends. We enjoyed the food, and found there to be a good choice, though on one occasion the main course was served on the cold side.

There was very comfortable seating in the pool area and never any trouble finding a lounger or a rattan chair in the area overlooking the sea. We enjoyed relaxing there very much.

The hotel is very well situated and we were very pleased with our choice indeed. Thank you to everyone at the Florida for a lovely holiday.

Great 3* hotel on the beach road half way between the old town and Maria pia beach. Lovely pool with 2 jacuzzis, snack bar, restaurant. Had double room with adjoining twin room for our daughter. Room very clean and spacious. Hotel staff very friendly. We stayed b&b, breakfast adequate, there is also a restaurant which we didn't use. Lots of restaurants in vicinity and also in town, a 15-20 mins walk. Rooms have balconies, some have sea views and pool views, some just look over a road. Once you've checked out, you can leave your cases and still use the pool and beach as there is a shower and loo near reception, which is handy. Overall hotel, worth its 3 stars.
