We really enjoyed our stay here, with excellent access to the sea walls, and the centre of the old town. The views from the roof terrace were a bonus. Thank you to Sara on Reception, who was so helpful, and made us feel thoroughly welcome.
(Disabled access note : there is one 1" step from pavement to Reception. There is a newer lift that would take a wheelchair/disabled scooter. Breakfast room is accessible. Roof terrace has 1 x 4" step onto it. We didn't use the Spa, so don't know about that. I believe they have 2 adapted bedrooms, but I don't need one of those myself, so can't comment on those. There are 2 viable routes to the city centre, with dropped kerbs available. Parking is an issue, but you can use a street disabled space, with your badges displayed, overnight and for no charge. We found one ok. The sea wall has an extensive walk, all level, and mainly flagstone. Some cobbles, but possible to avoid these. The city centre is accessible, but can be a little rough. Most streets have paved strips within the cobbles though).More
