We arrived at this B and B to find out we had to share the bathroom with 4 other people. My husband doesn't like to share so Gianni offered to help by calling his friend that also had a place. He is such a kind person and talked to us about the history of Alghero and all the good places to go. Because we did not stay with him I cannot comment on anything else. Just know that he will go out of his way to make you happy.o

This small B&B has a very nice and friendly staff that serves you with good information and a good breakfast in the morning. There are parking available on the streets around the B&B, and it takes about 10 minutes to walk to the city centre.

We arrived late, that was no problem. Very service minded owner! Great breakfast, fresh bread ( not only croissant), delicious ham and cheese. Nice room with air conditioner. Good size bed but a bit rigid.

Very good!

After we were abandoned at the B&B we were supposed to stay at, Giovanni Vacca, the owner of Ramo Rosso, saved us. Like all the B&B's we've found so far in Italy, this is not your typical B&B. It is essentially like living in an apartment with other roommates - one of them being Giovanni. It is in the penthouse of a small apartment complex, and each of the three bedrooms has 2 or 3 very comfortable, clean beds with locks to ensure privacy. The bathroom, kitchen and living room are large and clean and shared among all the guests. Each morning Giovanni makes traditional Sardinian breakfast and is always up for a good chat. Everyone in Alghero knows him, so he is full of great information on what to do and where to go to get the best experiences. He is a very gracious host, and helped us out every time we needed something. If you are looking to meet a local and live a bit of the local lifestyle, this is the perfect place for you.
