Reviewed 23 December 2019

I have booked 2 standard rooms for a one night stop. The hotel is really close to the motorway and it has a large parking lot. Staff was helpfull. Our rooms were clean, spacious and modern. The weakpoint was that we could have only separate rooms because the place doesn’t have connected rooms.
We have visited the historical city center and we also have dinner there. We took a taxi which arrived fast and I have paid 12 euros for our journey.
The selection of food for breakfast was excellent and the price was 12 EUR/adult, free for children. Eggdishes had an extra cost of 5 EUR.

About 5km away from the downtown area--which is far enough away, but makes it challenging to find places to eat at night (there's two restaurants close by and the hotel does offer dinner). Check-in was easy and the receptionist was polite and welcoming. Room was big with a desk and sitting chair. Bathroom included a shower/tub combo. Bed was not as firm as I'd have liked it, but the pillows were good and thick which provided good support. I liked the fact that there was no carpet in the room. Towels were clean and soft--even provided face towels! Minibar in the room was a good touch with water and soft drinks. Closet to hang clothes, but no drawers provided to stack clothes. Showerhead needed a cleaning as the water spraying out got everywhere except on me. (ha!) Taxi to the downtown area ranges between 10 and 15 euros. Breakfast was good but busy--lots of different options to try. Would stay here again---AC worked like a champ!

It is not a bad hotel at all if you stay in here for less than a week. No English Channel in the tv, restaurant close by is not the greatest mediocre. The restaurant in the hotel serve a good pizza. Nothing around but get really busy in the evening. Again for less than a week is ok but over it I will go somewhere else where there are civilization.
