I stayed for a week at this beautifully located hill top rental apartment, about ten minutes from Vicenza, the center of Palladian architecture in Italy. Following ten days in Venice, it was wonderfully refreshing to be able to look out on the hills and plains of the Veneto. The apartment was clean and well laid out, and the hosts, Daniela and Luigi, who live upstairs, were unfailingly welcoming and considerate. A car is necessary for anyone planning to explore the area, and a reliable map or GPS, or both, to navigate the small lanes and road system, which is not always easy in Italy. For those using the well-equipped kitchen, it should be remembered that the glass stove top is not heat resistant, and must be lifted before lighting the gas burners. This one bedroom rental could easily accommodate several guests. While it is initially hard to find, it is a great place to stay and use as a home base for anyone interested in exploring the rich and storied Venetian countryside.
Liked best:
The location and the view
Liked least:
The Wi-Fi is weak, and the entrance drive is a little awkward and hard to find.

Thank you so much for your positive and exaustive feedback. We always try to be as supportive as possible and offer our guests what we would like to find in a holiday accommodation. It was a pleasure to meet you, such a learned and friendly person. Thanks to you we now know a little more of your beautiful country. In your next vacation in Veneto do not forget to visit Ca' del Vento again. Lunch or dinner ... we will spend some nice time together. Daniela and Luigi
