Wonderfull and charming. Great staff, beautiful place. Room was very good and quiet. Cannot top the location. Really nothing "not wonderful" about this place. Would come back again. Highly recommended,

It has a flavir of the ancient, if you like the italian look this hotel is for you, my daughter prefered the more modern look but I like it, love the bath and the ac works well cant wait ro try breakfast
It was the best stay in my entire Italy trip. The gorgeous room, beautiful decor, street view from the balcony, spacey room and bathtub, kind and generous hospitality by staff, and all were perfect. What to mention is breakfast. You have to be very hungry for the breakfast otherwise you will regret in the morning when you arrive in the hall. The owner seems to be fond of tea and they have very good selection. I would like to come back here again, not to see Verona but to stay in this wonderful hotel!
This is a very romantic hotel and at Christmas I would say you could not find a more beautiful place in the world than Verona. However, even if you are travelling on you own as I was, for work, you will not be made to feel out of place. The staff at reception could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The lobby is very ornate and somewhat over the top, but the rooms are genuinely cosy. However, it was the attitude of the staff that for me makes the difference between this and most hotels. This hotel is luxurious but with a level of personal service and attention that makes it one step above mere luxury.
For the life of me I cannot figure out why this hotel is not more highly rated. The rooms are all unique and sumptuous. The common areas are accommodating - six of us enjoyed cocktails before dinner in a very pleasant sitting area. Breakfast was good each morning with an ample selection. The location is perfect. The price...perhaps on the higher side for Verona. If you enjoy all that is Italian this is the right place. If you are looking for modern, clean lines....it is not.
As my favourite place to stay was fully booked, I stayed at Gabbia d'Oro.
The location is truly great and I love palazzos and history - there was an abundance of both.
However, it did strike me as strange that each member of the staff seems to have multiple roles depending on the time of the day or night. Them being very attentive it was ok.
It would greatly benefit from more service aka restaurant or similar.
Nevertheless, I'll be back
