As everyone said, the hospitality was amazing. Nicest people ever. Great location. Air conditioning and wifi was spotty. Hard to sleep with windows open cause it gets noisy outside early. Probably would have been fine with windows closed.

An absolute gem of a hotel. Very conveniently situated in the city centre. The room was beautiful and spotlessly clean. The staff are very friendly. Lovely breakfast outside in the sun on the terrace. Would definitely return!

Christina, the front desk lady toke our passports, “Hammm, is it a present for your wife birthday?” she asked after seeing the birthday date of my wife. “yes” I smiled. . we arrive this hotel 8:15pm, “If it so, you have to take her to the Opera at the ARENA” she said, “put here all your belonging and I will show you where to get the tickets”. She toke us and start to walk very quickly to the Arena saying that the show started 8:45 so we have to harry up. We get the ticket office at 8:20 (the hotel is only 50 meter of the Arena), we bought the tickets, then she rush us to take a shower, change and run to the Arena to watch and listen to Puccini`s Tosca great Opera.
That was my first time to feel that someone really care about you in s small and very quiet hotel
Thank you Christina and thank you Torcolo staff

This was THE perfect spot for my girls weekend in Verona for the Opera festival. We had a late arrival and the kind gentleman on night shift helped us locate street parking and showed us to our rooms. It was a king bed with an extra single which was perfect for three girls exploring Verona for the weekend. Breakfast was typical Italian spread and wait staff brought cafe and tea. Extremely kind, welcoming staff. AC was on and running during the hottest weekend of the year. Bathroom was decent, clean and recently updated. You can not beat the location of 1 block to the amphitheater. I will definitely stay again!

This is a lovely hotel, centrally situated. Our room was clean and spacious, and the breakfasts good. It is the staff who make it really special. The two lady owners are charming and helpful, as is Camilla. Caterina is something very special: enthusiastic and keen that one should get the very best of one's stay in Verona. We would never have thought of going to Mantova (Mantua) for the day by train, but thanks to Caterina we did. Verona is great. Wonderful city, wonderful hotel, wonderful people.

Room Tip: If you get up late, ask for a room where you will lewast hear the dust carts coming round
