The family that run this restaurant are farmers and the restaurant is their way of presenting the best locally produced food fresh and direct to customers.
The place is off the beaten track and when we went was full of business people doing lunch - as we were. The decor is as clean and contemporary as the top places in London or Paris but with some countryside decorations such as a grappa still to add character and uniqueness.
Service was friendly and informative. These people know about the food they serve.
The house speciality is beef steak. They serve them in a number of different ways and everyone in our party were well pleased with their dish. For starters I had Mozzerella Cheese wrapped in bacon and cooked - it was simple but just perfection.
I had a steak sliced and cooked in black olives and strong olive oil; It sounded strange and I only chose it because it had been recommended to me. WOW - I didn't want the eating experience to end - it was so delicious (and different) My colleague had the house special Chateaubriand steak which he said was incredibly good too.
Desserts were as good as the Michelin star place I once eat at in Paris.
