Like most people I went to Verona for the Opera. This is the best and closest hotel to the Arena. My suite was comfortable and very clean. The daily breakfast was wonderful, the staff was so friendly and welcoming.More

We stayed here for 2 nights, meanwhile this was the 5th I think. We came in from the airport, a pickup service had been arranged. Check in was fast and easy, you have to order breakfast in advance. The room was nice and clean, only the bathroom had some staining on the ceiling. As the room was on the first floor and looking on via Mazzini it was somewhat noisy also at night, so I used to take foamy earplugs. The a/c was truly helpful, but also disturbing me, but not my wife. Breakfast was good, scrambled eggs could have been a little bit warmer. The room is spacious, the hotel right in between the arena and the historic city. The service is excellent, helpful, and the checkout easy, too.
So, in times of Corona there are no promises, but we are looking for a comeback next year.

This is not a luxury hotel! Our room was really run down. All the furniture are more then used (see pictures) and the bed was old and lumpy. The walls were not be painted for a long time. Windows are old and not noise isolated. There are better and less expensice hotels in Verona!

The facility is closed every year for a week to carry out all the restoration work after the long summer season. The walls are painted and the scratches on the furniture repaired. The furniture is all designer, taylor-made by Italian craftsmen.
Of course, not all people are careful not to ruin things when they go to hotel rooms. That is why it happens that one can find a few small scratches or marks on the walls.
The many positive reviews we receive show that most of our kind Guests appreciate the beautiful holiday in Verona, our beautiful design structure, the kindness and professionalism of the staff and a little mark on the wall is not even noticed.

Staff were very helpful Unfortunately the bed was shocking uneven and lumpy . The staff however were wonderful very helpful . after getting a parking fine

My husband and I had the good fortune to stay here at the end of Nov. Spacious, well-appointed suite in the city center. Both Valentinas were friendly and helpful. They arranged: valet parking, our laundry, and a booking at Il Cenacolo (one of the best meals we've had in Italy!). An excellent value for the price! We had a lovely time and wish we could have stayed longer.

We really enjoyed stay in Escalus - it is located in city center - so we was aware that it can be lodu at night and during weekened especially.
Room was specious (we took one of upgraded) with big bathroom and sofa.
