A fortuitous experience. Our hotel recommended this place after another restaurant was fully booked on our final night - we are so glad they did. The owner has an infectious enthusiasm for both food and wine, guiding us towards things we would not have usually tried - such as the Prosecco col fondo (wonderful!). The food was excellent and the look of delight when he discovered that I, as an Englishman, had heard of puntarelle, meant that we had to order some as a contorno. We left satisfied and happy.
