Location was nice and quiet in Venice still close to all top attractions, Luca and Veronica helped to make our stay perfect, gave us a very nice map and a pass to go to San mark square, great view of Venice from all windows, kitchen was well equipped and breakfast ingredients were great, cozy and very clean, bathroom and furniture were great and elegant, building is recently refurbished. Highly recommended.

Curtains did not have blackout so we used to wake up early because of sunlight, tv was a bit small.

We spent 4 nights here and absoutely loved it. Our one bedroom corner apartment on the 5th floor was large and extremely comfortable with wonderful views of the canal. We sat in the comfortable armchairs with a morning coffee (there is a Nespresso machine) or a glass of wine in the evening and watched all the boat traffic on the canal and from the port; and the people crossing the bridge to the end of the island. We loved the feeling that we were living in Venice!

Luca and Veronica were friendly and helpful and check-in was an easy process. We arrived at the port and it's only a short walk to the vaporetto stop 'Zaccere' to catch the boat directly across the canal to the Stucky stop. Turn right and walk about 50m down to the reception for the Residenza Grandi Vedute (not obvious until you are outside the door).

Guests have use of the free Hilton boat service across the canal to San Marco. This is a wonderful service and saves a considerable amount on the cost of vaporetto tickets! (7.50 euro one way; 20 euro day ticket). It is a beautiful ride looking at the iconic scenes of Venice as you travel the short 15 minute ride across the canal.

Guidecca is a peaceful haven away from the tourist crowds. There are good places to eat and a co-op supermarket nearby. The Stucky building is a renovated old flour mill in the same building complex as the Hilton hotel.

The vaporetto to the airport stops directly outside at the Stucky stop. Everything is so easy to access and it is such a comfortable place to stay. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever fortunate enough to be back in Venice!

We stayed in the Burchio apartment which was amazing. Like other reviewers theres nothig new I can add. The apartments are so well situated away from the crowds of Venice.

The varied and quality ingedients for breakfast is a great start to the day and replenished daily. The view from our room of the grand canal was impressive. There are also some lovely places to eat and drink on Giudecca.

The manager Luca was very helpful friendly and informative. The ferry shuttle to St Marks is another added bonus. We had a wonderful trip to Venice made all the better because of our stay here.

I would highly recommend staying here and would love to return

What a treat! We loved staying here. I see that I am not alone and it's difficult to say something original. Luca is friendly and helpful. He commented that we had a sunny apartment and he was right. The sun poured in the large windows with gorgeous views over the water on every side.
The flat was well furnished and the expresso coffee machine was a special treat. Pods were replenished by the cleaning staff.
It was such a relief to get away from the crowds of the mainland Venice to Giudecca. We were so glad we had chosen these apartments and the Hilton shuttle makes transport easy.
We loved the busy little cafe along the front serving Campari spritzes in the early evening. We hoped to go back for lunch but ran out of time. We will just have to go back!

To reach the place, take ACTV no. 2 or 4.1 to Sacca Fisola and walk through housing complex. Cross the Ponte Lavraneri (ramp instead of stairs, a novelty in Venice and much easier with luggage than Palanca stop). Luca Bellini was a friendly, English speaking host, greeting us on arrival and handing over keys to one of the best views in Venice. The apartment was air-conditioned, spacious, clean and very quiet. The view most enjoyable and the interior rather quaint. The bed was too short, but otherwise comfortable. The shower was not easy to navigate, even though the tub seemed large enough. Toilet kept on running unless leaver was pressed twice. The elevator was extremely slow. WIFI access easy and complimentary. The kitchenette was well stocked and there were several things left in the fridge for breakfast. Coffee machine with instructions were available, however we opted to take our coffee elsewhere. Breakfast at the Hilton next door was available for EUR 30/person but very difficult to pay the bill unless you're a guest there. Dinner can be had much easier. A great option was getting a bottle of wine at nearby grocery store and a take-out Pizza at Trattoria do Mori (short walk). Pizza was good and inexpensive and eating dinner at the apartment overlooking the traffic on the water and listening to church bells was a nice experience. Used the Hilton shuttle a few times, but still needed the ACTV for convenience. Quiet evenings on Giudecca were an absolute delight after a day of overwhelming crowds along the Grand Canal. Would stay again.
