Hotel is located in Jewish quarter, a bit off from tourist areas and provides excellent opportunity to see how the local people live in Venice. Hotel's building is a former monastery, so the thick walls secure that rooms are quiet and not too warm. Airconditioning worked perfectly - it was soundless with ability to adjust the temperature.
As former monastery, hotel has a nice small inner yard with lots of trees, bushes and flowers. Many rooms are facing the yard, rooms on ground floor have french windows which can be opened. It was lovely to sit on a bench and read the book in the evening, surrounded by green plants, soft lights and some music.
We were travelling to Venice by car and decided to park the car at airport parking lot (50 eur for week, which is very good price for Venice). It is really easy to get to the hotel from airport by water taxi or Alilaguna waterbus, as it is second stop after the Murano island - Madonna dell'Orto station. From there it takes 750 m to the hotel. The only tricky part is to get luggage over 2 small bridges, but it's doable.
Hotel room had minibar with small fridge and also electric kettle, which can be used for making tea or coffee. Room had high ceilings and enough space for all the luggages and clothes we had with us. There were enough Tv channels to get news in most languages and also to watch Euro 2016 games.
Hotel is a bit off from busy tourist streets, but everithing in Venice is within walking distance, so I loved being a bit off from the centre. Spending 4 nights in Venice, we had plenty of time to get around. For longer stay it is also very convenient to have local supermarket Conad literally around the corner from the hotel. It was so easy to top up the water and fruits and other things needed.
Hotel has also a small bar and breakfast room, with some tables also outside in the yard. Breakfas had both cold and warm options. Not the world's best choice, but not bad (considering how bad it can be sometimes in Italy). Coffee was served from machine, so plenty of options.
Almost next to the hotel there are several nice (and also very popular) small restaurants with delicious food and seating next to canal.
Price performance of the hotel was excellent, considering the average prices in Venice, so I highly recommend the hotel for longer stay in Venice. Spacious airconditioned rooms with comfortable beds in quiet surroundings - what else to wish after long day in Venice :) Maybe just a spritz coctail from hotel bar...

Wow, this hotel has such great service! From the minute we arrived, the front-desk staff was so accommodating and put all our concerns at ease. Being that the hotel is a 10-minute walk to the Jewish ghetto, they are used to servicing Jewish guests and provided us with a Shabbat key for our room. They also were available to open the electronic door for us on Shabbat. The room was two floors, with the bathroom downstairs and beds upstairs, which was different than the norm but actually nice! Very clean, all the usual amenities including a fridge, etc. and we were able to stay in a triple room with three beds. Definitely a great place to stay!

Once again I chose the best with no doubt it will contribute to another excellent experience.
I dearly love this chain and had the pleasure of visiting one of the most beautiful cities in the World while staying at Eurostar Residenza Cannaregio, Venice, Italy.
Terrific location, surprisingly double story rooms greatly decorated with sleeping bed up stairs, super clean, lovely breakfast and again and again one of World's best hospitality teams ever; simply professional, caring, polite and very friendly.
Thank you Eurostar and thank you Venice for creating such outstanding journey.

We arrived around 9.30pm at St Alvise boat stop & walked to the hotel. This stop is on the outskirts of the island & the streets near St Alvise boat stop are VERY dark as there is hardly any lighting & no one else could be seen. Luckily we found our way to the hotel but we did not like this experience as it was very dark & erri. As such we avoided that stop in the evenings & got off a bit further away at Ferrovia as the walk back to the hotel was more pleasant.
Signs to the hotel from the St Alvise station would have been helpful.

The room was big & clean. Upstairs was the bed, telephone & a TV. Downstairs we had a sofa, TV, fridge, clothes hang rail & the bathroom. When we first arrived the room was very warm & we couldn't get the air conditioning to work. We rang reception who did something which instantly helped as we could feel the air flow straight away. There are no tea/coffee facilities in the room - that would have been nice.

The breakfast was great! Plenty of cold juices, water, hot drinks, with a variety of pasteries, cakes, cereals, breads, cold cheeses, yogurts & freshy cut fruit. The only 'hot' dishes served were scrambled egg & bacon. The egg was delicious. Shame they didn't serve other hot dishes like mushrooms, baked beans or porriage. My friend who is allergic to eggs & a vegetarian would have liked a warm breakfast instead of the cold options.
Overall we were very pleased with the breakfast selection & cleanliness maintained throughout the breakfast period.

The hotel doesn't have a restaurant or doesn't do room service which was a bit odd. On our first night, as we had a late flight in, we were lucky to find a restaurant still serving food as it was quite late in the evening.

The hotel bar is small but a nice touch to the hotel with a friendly barman. Upon check-in the hotel gave us a coupon for a free drink each. The bar could be improved by serving food & being open longer - we only saw it open early in the evenings for a few hours.

The reception staff are very friendly & always at hand to give advice & directions. All staff we encountered were polite & welcoming. The gentleman at checked-in was great at helping us out with restaurant suggestions & directions - thank you!
