Just about one year ago myself & 2 friends visited Venice. We stayed 5 nights at Ca' del Campo Hotel. Our accomodations were perfect for the three of us. The room was clean and comfortable & the bathroom was large & modern. The location of the hotel can't be beat it's right behind St Marks Square. Very convenient to get to all the major attractions in Venice. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast served every morning was included in our price and the selection was good. All in all the Ca'del Campo was truly a hidden gem.

This is a small friendly hotel. We stayed for three nights - all of the staff were very friendly and competent and spoke very good English. The room was comfortable and clean a good size and with decent cotton sheets and towels. Breakfast was good. The hotel is very well placed for San Marco and Rialto.

Centrally located, yet quiet in evenings for a good nights sleep. Staff very polite and helpful, had to change rooms on the first night but this was handled quickly and without problems. Room clean, spent most time out and about. Breakfast simple but adequate. Nearby Taverna San Lio is highly recommended

My friend and I stayed at Ca' del Campo Hotel in September 2011. This hotel is in a perfect position. So very close to St Mark's square. Walking around Venice was wonderful and this hotel is in such a central position. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. Service was exemplary. Breakfast is served in a quaint dining room and was of excellent standard.

The hotel is conveniently located behind Piazza San Marco, and handy to most places. The hotel is on the upper floor of a renovated building, and is fully modern and tastefully decorated. A bonus was that our room overlooked the canal. There is a good continental breakfast, and the staff were very helpful with directions and with arranging water transportation to the railway station. Double glazed windows mean a quiet room, and a fully-equipped modern bathroom and central air conditioning added to the comfort.

Even with the elevator, there are a few steps (less than 5) to navigate to reach reception on the second floor - important if stairs are a problem. And be sure to have an accurate, detailed map for find the hotel if you are coming from the vaporetti stop near San Marco or on foot. The hotel isn't far, but there are a few twists and turns in the narrow streets to navigate as you tote your luggage. (We found the street address wasn't enough for many locals to guide you.) If you are coming by water taxi, make sure it drops you at the canal dock a few feet from the door of the hotel.
