Recently stayed in this property and had a great time. The overall stay was very comfortable.
My take on the hotel is as under:
Location: 4/5
Service: 4.5/5
Ambience: 4/5
Cleanliness: 4.5/5

The staff is very helpful and prompt in response.

Great option for anyone looking for a decent 4 star property.

My husband surprised me for my birthday and it was really nice hotel with great location.
Close to everything- stores, restaurants and every other attractions that you usually do in Venice.. very recommended!

A lovely comfortable hotel in a very good location in San Marco.
Breakfast has a good selection and the rooms are clean and well maintained.
Only criticism is that rooms need coffee and tea making facilities and the tv would be better if it had one English language channel like CNN or Sky news as not everyone who visits will speak native Italian.

That was our first time visit to Venice. We arrived and learnt lot of things about Venice. My expectations was someone from hotel would come and pick me from train station. Sooner we realised once in Venice Island you can only expect some sort of transport in the grand canal. We bought two days boat ride and started searching our hotel in the half dark lanes between old buildings. The lanes are like a labyrinth and Google map made it more difficult to find our hotel. Finally, with the support of a kind passer by we managed to arrive our hotel. The hotel and the staff are really helpful and supportive. It is comfortable and serves good breakfast. I think before coming to Venice someone should do some study to make full use of time and money.

Whether it was the staff, the room or the actual hotel location, everything about the Duodo Palace was charming. It's in a quiet corner, near Campos San Marco and within walking distance to most attractions and the Vaparetto.
