My mom and I took a mother/daughter trip to Italy and we started our adventure in Venice. Hotel Colombina was the perfect choice for our accommodations! The location is perfect, just a few minute walk from St. Mark's Square and countless restaurants and shopping. Located right on the canal, we would spend a few minutes each evening sitting on the landing right outside of the hotel enjoying watching the gondolas go by! Not only was location great, but the staff was extremely friendly and helpful! They had countless recommendations and coordinated on our behalf for restaurant reservations, a water taxi to the airport, and even came to the rescue with a converter! We were very grateful for the staff - they went above and beyond. Venice is truly a magical city, and Hotel Colombina is the perfect place to experience it!

Very nice, clean and comfortable hotel. Great buffet breakfast in a Victorian setting. Hard to find. Would recommend water taxi that will take you right to hotel. Or get a porter at St. Mark’s Port. Hotel is near shops & cafes. Wonderful experience. Wanted to stay at a cultural site...not a Marriott!

Now I understand the expression “location, location, location.” This was my first visit to Venice, and never has location been so important when choosing a Hotel in a City. This Hotel is literally a gentle 3 to 7 minute walk from all that you need on a trip to Venice. Combine this with the truly wonderful, helpful, and ceaselessly charming Staff and you have a memorable visit guaranteed (a particular thank you to Marco who helped us on a couple of occasions and without him we would not have enjoyed our stay as much. Thank you truly.)
We had a Suite overlooking the Canal and it was a beautiful room. The Hotel is maintained in an immaculate fashion. The breakfasts are sumptuous. Have a drink in the Bar in the evening and it’s great fun and beautifully presented.
Will I return - you bet!

Had a suite here, very nice and spacious. Beds were comfortable, view was of the canal and the bridge of sighs. Staff very helpful and courteous, helped us find a great restaurant we never would have noticed if they had not suggested it to us. Bathroom big, nice desk to work in between exploring the city. Minutes to St. Mark's square.

We stayed a weekend at this hotel for my husbands 40th birthday, we had a junior suite overlooking the canal and it was amazing. We could see the Bridge of Sighs from our window and it was wonderful to watch the gondolas go by below. The staff could not be more helpful and kind and our traditionally decorated room was spotless and well maintained. While super close to all the main attractions the hotel feels like it's tucked away from all the hustle and bustle. We would without doubt stay here again.

Room Tip: Suite with canal view
