Started by the Bon family, but finished by the Rezzonicos of Genoa, who were renowned for their elaborate banquets and parties. Later (1888) bought by Robert Browning and his son Pen, it became the Museum of 18th Century Venice in 1934. It has been beautifully restored and has an incredibly awesome ballroom by Giorgio Massari.

This was the only former grand residence I visited in Venice. It is easy to get to as it is a water bus stop on the Grand Canal. There are multiple floors of furnishings and paintings that are well worth seeing. Self-guided tour cards are provided in each room to explain the details. There is a modern ticket office, restrooms and café on the ground floor. Well worth the modest entrance fee. A very enjoyable venue.

We wanted to tour one palace and this was the one we visited. Easy to get there (C'Rezzonico vape stop...and just walk right in). The palace itself is beautiful! There are informative printed guides in English in every room. We didn't realize that much of the space is devoted to their large collection of period paintings...this got a bit exhausting, but the views out the windows on the upper floors was wonderful. Even if you don't enjoy the paintings, the space is lovely and beautifully restored.

Old ancient house of nobleman designed like a palace. You may not need a guided tour and explore it your own.
