This is a local quartier restaurant, family run, delicious regional cuisine, fast service, personalised. Food was quickly served, great pasta and salads, local house wine and not expensive. Neither folkloric nor touristic.

Fabulous food, beautifully presented. The English menu is not as extensive as the Italian, however in your home country there would not even be an Italian translation. Don't worry and just enjoy the welcoming hospitality in this popular restaurant. Very reasonably priced for the quality of food served. Opens at 7pm, most diners don't arrive till later. Go early and take your time enjoying at least 3 courses. Complimentary appetiser was delicious. Definitely recommend.

I and my girlfriend had dinner at this place because it advertised it had a specific gluten-free menu, which was great as my girlfriend is on a gluten free diet. It was a bit of a walk from the city centre but it increased our appetite so it was good.

As you enter the place you feel it has substance: it's something of an "good days fashion" place, with elegantly dressed waiters with the proper aplomb. But it's informal as well, and everybody's friendly. Also our dog (a 32 kg Belgian shepherd) was accepted and greeted properly (we phoned beforehand to let the staff know we came with a dog).

The gluten-free menu has a lot of choice and is excellent: they have specific wheat-free "pasta", which is great as the first dishes in this restaurant are absolutely not to be missed: try the bigoli, you'll be very satisifed. Main courses and desserts are also very good.

Staff is attentive and very kind, and they do their best to make sure you enjoy your meal.

Pricing is reasonable for the quality (and quantity, the pasta dishes are big). This is a place which is definitely to be recommended.

They also allow BYOB, like in the US (even though they have alcoholic drinks on the menu, and the house wine is very good actually): you can bring your wine or what you want. nice!
