This small restaurant gives a sense of intimacy, in part because the tables are very close to each other and the decor is over the top. The kitchen focuses on seafood and the list of antipasti is one of the longest in the city. Fresh pasta of all types provides options for all, and there are several types of risotto too. The main dishes focus on fish and seafood. Each is prepared with care and beautifully presented. Service is attentive, at times slow. The wine list is extensive, focused mostly on Italian varietals.

We had dinner with some friends in this restaurant located in a nice area in the center of Padova. The food and service were both excellent and we had 2 bottles of a local red wine which were fine. I had the fish ("branzino") cooked in a crust of salt and I can recommend it. The desserts were equally good and original. Prices are quite high however.

If you want to stay in an inviting place, to enjoy a group of people who is dedicated to give you the best of the best of italian, venetian see food and cooking, book a table in this restaurant. You will be ready to see and eat what they are eating in paradise❤️ The desserts are amazing. The macaroons are the best I ever tasted in any place.

We were in a small group, perhaps 8-10 people when we went for dinner to this unusual place. It is small, just a handful of tables, so it fills up quickly. It is overstuffed with decorations that cover all the walls, hang from the ceiling and actually take up a lot of the scarce real estate. The waiters had a hard time commuting from the kitchen to the tables avoiding the hanging decorations. The menu focuses on seafood and fish, although pasta is well represented. We started with a delicious dish of scallops, followed by ricotta-filled fior di zucca, and an interesting poached egg covered with porcini mushrooms and a thin layer of parmigiano. The pasta with mussels and bottarga was excellent as was the risotto all'Amarone. The main course included lobster, shrimp and later, a sliced filet with green pepper sauce that is to die for. UNfortunately, there was another, larger group and all the attention of the wait staff was focused on that table so we had an excruciatingly long wait between courses. It took almost four hours to dine, and while the company was pleasant, it was far too long.

We were early, no reservation. This tiny restaurant was recommended to us by our friend from South of France. Since we were early, they have us sat outside with our Brunello that the owner recommended. He decanted it, they brought some appetizers. Upon tasting the wine , it was bad, I asked the owner to taste it without discussion, he asked me if I stay with the same wine ( expensive wine Brunello) or chose another kind but I asked for the same kind. The second bottle was the best! Our orders were excellent. We had one of the best dinner in Padova. Because we liked it so much, we went there again the next night but we could not be accommodated, no reservation again. So my advice is to call for reservation before going there.
