I've never been to a wine bar before where the waiter is the wine list. But he did really well with his choices. A local Sauvignon blanc early evening and a local red when we went back after dinner. You can tell we liked it.

This easygoing bar in the middle of the center is authentic and meeting point for young and old to take small bites and drinks. Choice of local wines and beer. The service is friendly and quick.

If you want to take an aperitif or a drink this can be a right place, it is pretty small, though it has a vast choice of wine/sparkling wine, snacks with meat, fish or vegetarian ones. It is almost always full especially starting from 5 pm onwards, when white collars are out from work, location is wonderful, price/quality is fine. It has several tables outside, during winter time bar provides some external heating thus making it popular all year round.

Trendy little bar, with a great selection of wines & a perfect place to hang out & embrace the Italian way of life. Location is easy to find, not too far from the main piazza & just off the main shopping street. The bar seems to be very popular with the locals, it a good sign & you can understand why.
The bar also serves great panini, tapas & there's a small restaurant on the sub-floor if you want more of a meal. Needless to say that the afternoon aperitivo hour gets a bit crowded, but you get that when you're in a popular town like Bolzano at this time of the year, plus it adds to the atmosphere anyway.

Prices are quite reasonable & the service is very good.
