On a rainy evening we visited this good restaurant. We were the first guests and choose to sit at the bar, not a bad choice. We had a glass of white wine (weissburgunder) as a starter. The kitchen served a little and very delicious lamb burger as a welcome snack - yummi. For first course we had tatar and clambs, very tasty. Second course we had pecorinorisotto and guinea fowl - lots of good taste. The waiter recommended a Riesling to the food, excellent choice.
Definitely a place worth visiting.

I had dinner with my wife on a Tuesday night. We had two rabbit tagliatelle, two glasses of Lagrein Riserva wine, a bottle of sparkling water and one espresso. Total: 60 euro. The ambience is okay, relaxed but not noisy. The service is fast and kind. Our food was good and the wine excellent. Portions were sooo big, so consider asking for a small one (you can choose from regular or small when ordering pasta/risotto dishes). Our opinion: good option in Bolzano, although a bit pricey.

I was there for an aperitivo yesterday. We had an excellent wine and beer (2 glasses each of us). Unfortunately, we have not been served more than 2 tiny pieces of appetizers at the beginning. After the second glass of wine we asked for some grissini before heading for dinner but we have been told that the aperitif time was over and we were not supposed to get any kind of appetizers at 8:30 pm along with our drinks. We only could order some food from the restaurant.
Because, yes – aperitivo – also means food and you can order an alcoholic drink and it won’t be served without some peanuts or potato chips!
In the heart of Bolzano we would have expected more style, meeting guests' needs and... aperitivo mood.

Popped in for some lunch. Amazing business lunch menu and beer. Excellent service and in great English too. Dishes - fine dining, well designed and executed. Highly recommended.

If you are tired of the crowds in the center of the town and you are looking for a quiet modern fine dining experience this is the place. The Restaurant is located in a quiet plaza close to the Rennon cable car. The Restaurant is in an old building, the building that hosted one of the oldest taverns in Bolzano. The Restaurant is nicely remodeled and has an outdoors section in the plaza. They have great food, Sudtirol food , very nicely presented with European fusion flavors. The service can be a little slow when the restaurant is crowded in the peak hours, but if you have time to stay as much is needed it is a great place.
