Hotel staff were friendly and approachable at all times throughout our 5 night stay.
The breakfast was fabulous with a good range of fresh and cooked breakfast options.
Travelling with a small child, breakfast times were made enjoyable and delightful by the kitchen staff - nothing was too much for them to meet our needs. The hotel was clean and conveniently located within walking distance from the railway station.

This hotel is probably the nicest in Asti. It makes the difference right before one enters, as they have a nice outdoor lounge right on the arcade stroll, wich is very welcoming and great for relaxing in the evening cool breeze.
Reception staff was extra friendly and very helpful. We had our luggage misplaced by the airline and the guys at the reception saved the day by calling the company (our italian is not so good, they did all the talking!).
Roons are not enrmous but also not too small if one compares them with other places in Italy, and the beds were confortable, assuring a nice night's rest! Bathroom very well organised, functional and practical.
Buffet breakfast was very complete, with large assortment of breads and pastry, custom-made bacon and eggs, coffee, espresso or capuccino.
Location is also convenient, five minutes walk from Piazza Vitorio Alfieri and ten minutes walk from the train station. Arrived by train and we did everything on foot without any complications.
There are plenty of restaurants, cafes and gellaterias nearby, and also a supermarket, for some quick snacks or chocolates.
In conclusion, the hotel is a definitive must-go, and i would stay here again if returning to ASti.

The Aleramo is an older wonderfully decorated in true Italian style hotel. The detail is really overwhelming. The room is traditional for the area and absolutely spotless. If you think you would enjoy the walking through cobblestone streets, visiting shops, restaurants and bars Asti, Italia may be for you. Bring your walking shoes that is the best way to get around in the very old city. The staff treat visitors very well and offer advise when asked. I highly recommend staying at Aleramo the next time you visit Asti.

We stayed at Hotel Alermo for the Palio di Asti. Staff was great helping us find restaurant tickets and activities. Location was 300 m from the train station and the Palio.
Night before the Palio was high sprited loun but great fun.
