Small innocuous looking church that you would otherwise walk by but well worth calling in to see the frescoes which cover the entire wall surface.

Don't be fooled by the exterior; the interior is completely covered by beautiful frescoes that have been restored. The colors are brilliant and the effect is stunning. One could spend a couple hours inside the two sections of this this church examining all the beautiful artwork. We saw it with a tour guide and it was worth it getting an explanation on some of the many frescoes. There is an interesting wall dividing the public worship space and the private worship space reserved for the nuns who had made a vow of isolation from the outside world. The wall is open at the top so the sounds of the worship service can be shared, but the nuns could not be seen or see out. This church is definitely worth a visit.

Without a doubt a stunning church inside. Filled with paintings. Don’t judge this book by its cover.

This is a beautiful church with lovely painted frescoes. The seating in wood on both sides is very impressive as is the enormous organ on the wall. Go through the back into the nun’s walk and enjoy the experience.

What a beautiful church! Like many things in Milan, it looks quite ordinary from the outside, but do not be deceived! The interior is quite stunning, as the whole church is decorated with colorful and vivid fresco paintings. Make sure you visit also the nun's praying hall, in the back of the church - and do not miss the Noah's ark fresco on the left end of the hall and the painted organ. As in other churches in the city, volunteers will be happy to offer some explanations about the building and its history.
