You know what you can expect when you stay at a Best Western and this is no exception. I was warmly welcomed and given a quick session on where everything is.

The rooms are comfortable and the soundproofing good. You basically can't hear the traffic and had a room facing the busy road outside. There is a radio with mood settings which helped me fall asleep easily that night. Breakfast is sufficient but I found the seating a bit limited when the bulk of the people arrive. I ate dinner once at the hotel and they offer very basic choices. You will do better finding a nearby restaurant.

It is not to far from the nearest metro station(Lotto) and that links you to the main tourist attractions.

The only negative for my was the shower in the bath, but that is just a personal dislike.

The Hotel is very clean and the staff always attentive and helpful. The room itself was not the biggest, just about adequate for 2 adults.
The bed was harder than I am used to as were the pillows. We did tell reception this and they were grateful for the opinion of "international travellers".
Bar beverages are cheap and good measures.
There is a tourist tax to pay on top of your bill 5 euro per person per day.
Breakfast is mostly scrambled Egg and bacon. Have buns and croissants rather than toast. Cereal is not what your used to, stick to fruit and cake. Order cappuccino coffee - its hot and tasty unlike the tea and other coffee (but that's just their style). Plenty of fresh orange juice and fruit available.
The TV is nearly all in Italian but that's expected. Some channels do have English options. Would have liked at least one news channel (BBC) in English and perhaps for the kids a cartoon channel. With modern TV's you can take Films/Programs on USB dongles and plug in the back but be sure its FAT formatted (small files only) as the TV's we seen could not take the NTFS format (big files).
The Hotel is based a bit away from the city centre. This means a walk to the nearest Metro - Lotto - and then purchasing train tickets. Very reasonable at €9 each for 3 days unlimited use. The hotel has an underground route map which shows the stops. Very easy to use but does get busy on the "red" line.
There is a supermarket a few streets away should you wish to purchase Beer/wine and crisps etc and there is a McDonalds a few meters down the road - they do get everywhere but one day we found ourselves needing the washrooms - so they do come in handy for coffee and water break :-)
The San Siro stadium is 20 minutes walk away. Everything else you will need to use the metro.

Room Tip: There are 8 floors, all pretty much the same. The lift is small, to carry 4 people at best - without luggage. So choose lower floors if possible.

We stayed here for 3 nights a week ago and its an excellent place to stay while visiting Milan - 5 minutes from the Metro and tram stops outside.

The staff could not be more helpful and all speak excellent English.

There breakfast is excellent and service is outstanding.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is thinking of visiting Milan !

What a great find this was for myself and the other Celtic supporters who stayed here last week for the match v Inter Milan.

Great location for getting round town and especially for the San Siro.

Rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was top notch.

The staff however really made this hotel. We were all looked after from the moment we arrived and always greeted with a smile.

Thank you all !

Stayed here with friends when at a game in San Siro. Hotel was great, they really looked after us and couldn't have done enough. Room was good, breakfast had no shortage of everything. Would recommend and if here again would most definitely stay here.
