What can i say about this place.
The staff are so rude, i have never in my life experienced such poor customer service. I don't think that any of them wanted to be there. The hotel only provides one bathrobe in the bedroom so if there are two of you, you will need to ask for another, which is fine. However, we did this and were made to wait for 3 hours which isn't so great... A robe is essential for using the Spa. We only stayed one night, so most of our time was wasted waiting around and making calls to reception to chase them up. The spa was good once we finally got down there. In the rooms, the shower leaked all over the place the air con is rubbish. The noise coming from the floor above us was so loud we didn't sleep at all. ( flushing loos, footsteps, doors slamming, and shouting) Breakfast is like cattle market, crammed into small room, shoulder to shoulder with other guests. The pastries are all frozen and not fresh, the coffee tasted like an old ashtray. The 'pool' is more like dirty green pond, the staff tried to say it was refraction of light through the roof... I've never heard such rubbish - another couple also refused to use it whist we were there.
Our whole stay we were made to feel so uncomfortable and so unwelcome we didn't feel like we could bring some of the the issues up with the management. We did however bring it up with room provider, who were very helpful and apologetic. They agreed that the hotel wasn't up to standard during our visit. They tried to get a refund from the hotel but the managers just came up wit a barrage of ridiculous excuses.
So disappointing and not worth the £170 we paid. I will never stay in a Sina hotel again. Atrocious.

The hotel is central located, literally at the heart of the city close by the duomo!
The hotel staff is very professional and very helpful.
You can find few restaurants close by.
Well-connected to the public transportation with duomo underground station just 2min walk and codorna/malpensa connection station just few stops away!

You could not want for a better location, its right in the heart of Milano.
But the hotel itself is rubbish.
Its old, the rooms are very small (even the executive ones on the "A" Floor), the swimming pool is a joke, I would be ashamed to put gold fish in there.
The gym is tiny.
The breakfast is average at best.

Very quiet 2 min walk to Duomo. Just behind La Rinacente department store. Rooms are nice. Will book again. Good breakfast. The only reason I gave it 4 stars the room was too hot. Kept window open most of the time.

We stayed for two nights at the Hotel Sina De La Ville in a Superior double room on the 4th floor. The room was not large but clean and modern. The bed was quite hard. There were extra blends that did not let sunlight through the window - so no sleeping masks were needed. But the room was very loud, we could hear our neighbours talking, the earplugs were necessary. Free wifi worked OK and the complimentary breakfast was standard, nothing special. We enjoyed our stay and were willing to pay a little bit more for a central location.

Dear Guests,
thank you for having taken time to write a review and for your preference ofcourse.
Mostly our rooms are sufficiently soundproof but maybe for your future stay we would like to suggest for you to choose a Classic style room; which have been renovated too but maintained a Classic Decor.

Looking forward to receiving your future reservations, kind regards, The Management, Hotel De la Ville.
