Spent a week at the ADI Doria Grand in June (our second stay at this hotel) and would certainly recommend it to fellow travellers. As with all hotel deals, book as early as possible to get the best prices.

Due to flight times, we had a late arrival and the reception staff had found our booking before we even managed to extract the paperwork from our luggage! Check-in was quick and efficient and staff were courteous but businesslike throughout our stay.

Our room on the 9th floor was spotlessly clean and faced the street at the front of the hotel, however traffic noise was almost existent. The room décor is best described as traditional rather than modern but was well maintained and we slept soundly though the air conditioning was a little too efficient and we ended up turning it off overnight.

Self service breakfast was a typically continental affair of juices, cereals, fruit, bread, pastries, meats, cheeses though a hot selection of eggs, ham and sausages was also available. Tea and Coffee are brought to your table by the waiting staff and we were pleased to find that at least one waitress who recognised us each morning and remembered our preference.

The hotel is located 5-10 minutes walk from Milan Central railway station and the drop off point for the various airport buses. As a result, is it some way from the city centre sights such as the Duomo etc. However, there is a convenient Metro station just a few hundred metres from the hotel at Caiazzo and the number 1 tram which goes direct to the Vittorio Emmanuele Gallery and Duomo can also be caught here.

The hotel has a restaurant which is open in the evenings though we chose to sample various local restaurants rather than eat in the hotel.

Check out was equally hassle free and we were able to leave our luggage at reception as we had a late flight out of Milan.

We would not hesitate to stay at the ADI Doria Grand on a future visit to Milan.

Excellent value for money! Comfortable rooms and good breakfast with good service. Decent location near 2 metro stops and within walking distance from main train station.

As others have said, old-fashioned comfortable luxury!

This hotel is an easy 10 minute walk from the train station. This was my second time at this hotel. The rooms were clean and quiet, and the a/c worked. The breakfast was buffet-style with a good selection of hot and cold plates. The restaurant was good but pricey. The staff was professional and courteous. The hotel is two blocks from a major shopping street. Access to the underground is at the rail station and from there, it is an easy ride to the Duomo and Galleria and other sights. And while I was there, the wi-fi was free!

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room, off the street.

Extremely clean, respectful staff, good breakfast (very good coffee!) and so close to the central station and only steps away from a metro stop. The walk to the city centre is around 30 minutes but you can go through a beautiful park and is really worth it if you aren't in a hurry.
Supermarket, a great little cafe and a gelateria only steps away.

I will definitely come back to this hotel when I visit Milan next time. I agree with other reviews that say this hotel offers old-fashioned luxury, that's exactly what it's like. What I liked best is the sense of anonymity I felt whilst in the hotel, it's not one of those hotels where you feel you're disturbing or where you are disturbed by other guests or staff; in this hotel you don't know your neighbours and the staff doesn't bother you (to clean or else). Your room is yours for the time you're there.

The ADi Doria Grand Hotel was a good surprise. Good value for money. Good location, close to tube station and to the Milano Centrale train station.

We had a bit of an issue parking our Van, as the parking garage next to it wouldn't take big cars.

Hotel staff was very helpful, breakfast was not outstanding, but good. Free internet always helps.

Rooms are old fashioned, but spacious and clean. So is the bathroom.
