This has been an amazing experience. We have been on a lovely Maserati tour around the beautiful lakes of northern Italy. Along the way we have stayed at some of the very famous five star luxury hotels in the region and we find this stay at Aminta to be superior to them all. The friendly staff, the service, the food, the room, the view, the entertainment.... it is all perfect!

We recently stayed here to a 5 night stay. The hotel was very Italian even with paintings on the doors. The location was perfect over looking the Lake Maggiore. We had a room at the back of the hotel over looking the garden with a balcony which got the sun in the afternoon. The attention to detail in this hotel was excellent including complimentary soft drinks and beer in the mini fridge which were replaced daily. There was great choice of food at breakfast. We managed to get a sun bed round the pool when needed and towels were provided. We used the shuttle bus into Stresa most day and then walked back. My only criticism is that the shuttle bus stopped at 6pm which was a little early when going in for dinner. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel and would be very happy to stay here again.

Room lovely .. view over Lake Maggiore at meal times was fabulous . Hotel luxurious with amazing Murano glass chandeliers . Nothing too much trouble for staff and owners.. all delightful efficient and helpful. the spa was fantastic. A real luxurious treat.. would go back.

I booked Villa Aminta for a special occasion and it did not disappoint on any level. The beautiful location and property is simply breathtaking. The hotel staff were polite, friendly and genuinely could not do enough for you, they somehow do this in the most calm but amazingly efficient way. I really cannot find any negative in respect of our stay and would recommend this property to anyone looking for that extra special break. We will certainly be returning.
