I had looked up this site prior to my trip and it had received a couple of poor reviews which put me off staying there. We turned up at the site to find a very friendly and helpful owner.. she showed us around and we were more than happy with everything we saw. It is a great little site only 5 mins from the town. Very clean facilities. Please bear in mind it is not a big site , could possibly get very busy in high season. Definitely would stay there again.

Sadly we found this site to be the most expensive site during our trip around Italy which even included Milan and Venice. Not the cleanest or best showering facility, can honestly say if I was to go there again I would stay at the Municipal site down the road for free as 31 euro is very expensive per night. There was another campsite closer to the beach about 10 mins drive that we wish we had known about this is on the right hand side of the leg of Lake Como sorry don't no the site name.

2 ppl with 1 tent (no car) pay 30€ per night - that's extremely expensive when you consider, that you get a very small place (you are really close to your neighbours) from which you can see the lake only when you stand up - otherwise the view is covered by bushes. As it is the only camping in Bellagio, you do not have much choice although the quality for this price is not great.

If you are looking for the authentic place to stay in Bellagio, this place is for you. Very easy to find, this campsite is right above the city. The view is just perfect, though it was rainy. The owners are welcoming and ready to help. At first sight, i feared that the truck won't climb the path but finally even longer campers can come (+7meters). the toilets are not the finest but quite correct. A bit expensive for such a place, but don't forget you are at Como lake.

Lovely site on the hill above Bellagio. Facilities were very clean and the site was very quiet at night.

The location is great for views, but it is a longer hike to and from Bellagio old town than the website might suggest (it took us about 30 mins to walk down and 40 to walk back up). Make sure you are fully fuelled with pizza and pasta for the trek back up the hill!

Fairly expensive at €31/night for the two of us in our little VW van, but still probably the cheapest way to stay in Bellagio for the night.

For cyclists, the Ghisallo climb starts just below the site, it's a great ride up to the cycle museum at the top.
