We stayed in Venere room for 2 nights in October. The room is small but amazingly efficient. The view from the windows (including a window in the bathroom) and from the balcony is to die for - one of the best views in Riomaggiore that we encountered. The location is also perfect - not too high, not too low, allowing easy access to any point in the town and full town and sea view.
Our special gratitude goes to the host - tireless Lorenza, who spears no efforts to absolutely make sure her guests are comfortable and happy. This is how it worked in our case, and we arrival by car: a quick back-and-force email with Lorenza, and our arrival time and a meeting place was arranged; once there, 5 min after a phone call Lorenza was there on her small car, guiding us to a private garage, then loading our luggage into her car, driving us all the way to the house, with her husband helping with the luggage to our room!
In the morning, outside of the door, there was a plastic bag with fresh breakfast.
There was a storm one night, and pretty much all stores and restaurants were closed. Lorenza offered to make a sea food spaghetti for us, to save us from starvation. Fortunately, we did find one (single) restaurant open in uptown, and our dinner went to a less fortunate other tenants (which made them really happy).
On the day of our departure, Lorenza was there with her husband to take out luggage to her car and drive us to where we parked our car. A perfect host. Thank you!

Room tip: Venere is the room with the best view.

Lorenza was kind enough to pick us up on arrival at the train station and also take us back on departure day. A very nice gesture as dragging suitcase up the inclines would be difficult.
We had a room with a sea view and enjoyed sitting on the balcony enjoying our delicious breakfast that was delivered every morning.
the room was spacious and bright. There are stairs to get down to the property and then up to the room but then again it is Cinque Terre. Both Lorenza and her husband are gracious and genuine hosts.

Casa Lorenza

For the modern traveller, choice can be bewildering and even reviews these days need some careful consideration. However, on this occasion, Casa Lorenza caught our interest right from the start because of its location and the reviews seemed to be consistently good. We sensed that we would not be disappointed here.

Enquiries were handled professionally and swiftly with Signora Lorenza and once on site we could not stop marvelling at this little gem.

Signora Lorenza has given this accommodation a great deal of attention in the smallest of details. One may argue that this level of presentation would be expected from a former graduate of the Belle Arti but we would add that based on our experience she has raised the benchmark even higher.

We booked a room with a view of the sea and we were treated to a magnificent live painting of changing colours on a blue background. The bougainvillea right outside our balcony provided a wonderful bottom framing and we were mesmerised and thoroughly content.

Signora Lorenza and her husband run a very efficient operation here and the service level is both friendly and personalised. We loved the little bag left outside our door at 8 am every morning and we enjoyed the breakfast contents while sat on the balcony.

We found the room very comfortable, extremely clean and well equipped including the all essential coffee machine which made great espresso coffee and cappuccino.

We have no hesitation in recommending this location in Riomaggiore and we would gladly repeat the experience.

Lorenza was a great host. She arranged parking for us (very valuable), offered suggestions on where to go and what to see, delivered fresh croissants every day and of course picked us up when we arrived and took us and our luggage to the car when we departed.

It is a good location, spacious, clean and with Nettuno, we had a lovely terrace. Very useful to have kitchen facilities, a nice tv and wi fi.

I would have no hesitation recommending it to friends and would happily return.

It is reasonably close to the high street, station and waterfront, just be prepared to take the steps. I liked we weren't right in the middle as it was reasonably private as well as pretty quiet.

Room tip: Nettuno has a larger terrace.

We stayed at Dapne room. The host, Lorenza, came to fetch us when we arrived at the Riomaggiore train station (and sent us off when we depart), which is amazing because otherwise we couldn't imagine dragging our huge luggage bags through the countless of stairs. The room is very nice. It comes with a nice big bed. There's a coffee machine and a relatively big bathroom attached to it. There's also a balcony facing the main street/town (not sea view). On the first day we arrived, there was a storm and all shops were closed. Lorenza was kind enough to cook up seafood spaghetti for us, which tasted amazing! There's also a nice terrace nearby the house which is perfect to see the sunset, and it's away from all the crowd. Highly recommended to stay here while you're in Cinque Terre.
