On paper this hotel had everything we wanted, it was central and modern, and not wildly expensive. Sadly our stay there and that of our friends did not go well. We had booked a suite, which was not in the main block, though we were not told this. Both the bedroom and sitting room were dark and airless, and we had to have the lights on all the time, apart of course while sleeping.
The receptionists were not impolite, but you felt they could be, they were not that helpful. Possibly having come from Slovenia and the charm of the people there, I was expecting too much.
The breakfast was OK, however the downstairs lavatory was a disgrace. Dirty with the waste paper baskets overflowing. I mentioned this to the reception, and they said they would deal with it. Two hours later there had been no improvement.
it goes without saying, I would never book this hotel again. The Aosta, which is nearby, is a bit more expensive, but a far safer bet.
