Very nice hotel right in the city center. Great building, very good rooms. Check-in was quick, very friendly and efficient.
I would have rated it even higher, with full 5 points, had the breakfast not been a complete nuisance, to say the least.
Long waiting lines at buffet, overly complex and stupid process of handing over food, no food that one just can take.
And not much food that one would expect in Italy either.
A good restaurant manager, however, sensed the frustration, and offered help.
Maybe that is because of overreaction with regard to Corona measures, but especially a Hilton group hotel should be able
to look at solutions for breakfast buffets in other countries.
Let’s hope that it is not the new Doubletree standard that one has to wait 10 minutes for a coffee and 20 minutes in front of the buffet, or leave without having eaten.More
