This is a family owned restaurant. The owner is from Barcelona and her daughter was our waitress. They were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the pitcher of sangria, fried squid and the potatoes with sauces, although everything we had was delicious.

Thank Lipjan

It was very nice to eat there. The owners were very friendly, the food was great and the outdoor dinning enjoyable. The only thing was that there were very busy and had to remind to bring you orders.

Excellent in everything. Sangria was perfect, the salted tuna with tomato taps was divine, fried squid tapas was unbelievable, and the Iberian cheese platter was truly remarkable. Party consisted of Italians and Americans and everyone love the food and the location. Marina is a lovely server and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. Follow her suggestions! Great find in Trieste.

it was 6 of us, and were curious because the restaurant is relatively new and few reviews have been posted. The location is small, not easy to find parking around, there are some 8 to 10 tables indoor, so you've better book in advance. Outside there are other tables, and it's nice because it is adjacent to the Riccardo Arch. The restaurant design and furniture are not impressive (for instance I don't like the table, sort of cheap) but the personnel is very friendly and efficient. We had several types of warm tapas, pretty interesting, with potatoes, shrimps, octopus, bruschette and soup. Then we tried the 2 paellas, fish and mixed, The paellas were good, well prepared. We also added a Sangria (maybe a bit expensive, a 2 litre jar for 24 euros). The desserts (crema Catalana and chocolate tart) were tasty. Overall we liked it a lot, but nothing was really memorable. The price per person was 30 euros, which is reasonable. We'll come back.
