Family apartments in Auriga seem ok.
Advantages: good and quiet air conditioning, kitchen utensils, large fridge, large balcony (room 304), two sunbeds and an umbrella at the beach included in the price.
Staff was friendly and not always helpful.
And now to disadvantages: awful breafast, the worst we have ever had: artificial toasts, the cheapest Italian ham and cheese, hard-boiled eggs not always fresh; no fruit or vegetables; you have to ask for everything: knives, forks, napkins... The staff was always smiling but it seemed like an artificial smile for tourists.
The hotel advertises free wifi but it does not work properly, especially in rooms. Guests gather at the reception area, sitting on the stairs, looking for signal. :(
Cleaning is only once a week. In a place where you bring quite a lot of sand from the beach it is not enough and we had to remind the cleaning lady to change our towels because she forgot to do it (they change towels every 3 days).
Remember, Rimini is a place full of young people who come back from discos at 4 or 5 am, shouting and screaming loud. Young guests, when coming back to the hotel, banged on the doors and shouted. Sometimes it was hard to get a good night's sleep.
All in all, I wouldn't recommend Auriga to my friends.More
