Really central location but difficult to find if unfamilar with the area, room was lovely, very clean and so was bathroom, staff very helpful and friendly and provide all services a person would need but the rooms aren't sound-proof as you can hear other guests in the halls and lobbies but i would recommend this hotel to couples of any age; brilliant stay and we'd definitely go again.

The location is excellent - 5 minutes to Terminale, and 3 minutes to Republica metro, and the same to buses along the Via Nazionale. Around are numerous cafés for coffee, croissants and excellent sandwiches. We tried two local restaurants which were acceptable, but this is a tourist area so it does not have the best food. There is a daily market round the corner which has an excellent fruit stall, and a small supermarket in a basement opposite. So you won't starve around here!
There is no hotel lobby, only a small office which is staffed as required: not a problem because we emailed ahead telling them we would arrive after 2200, and someone was waiting for us. There are facilities to make hot drinks and a very small area to sit for a coffee, breakfast etc. So one person nips out to buy the cornetti whilst the other makes the coffee or tea. Entrance to the building and room is by electronic keycard.
The room was compact. That said it was very clean (and the cleaning staff do a good job), quiet when the window is closed, and has the snazziest shower ever with multicoloured lights and a variety of spray nozzles. Fun!
Wifi costs, but is reasonable. There is a room to store luggage when you check out. The lift is an antique, but it works.
If you want a no frills, keenly priced, centrally located hotel in Rome, this may be for you.

Room Tip: Both streets are fairly quiet: overlooking the opera house may appeal to some, but architecturally i...

We stayed here for our final night in Rome. We had previously been in an apartment with family. This hotel is wonderful. Room a tad small but room enough after all you are out checking out Rome all day. check in was easy and we received vouchers for a free pizza lunch. This was our best pizza meal - highly recommended. The room seemed to be almost brand new - everything was so sleek and shiny. The bathroom was smallish but the shower was a massage shower. Very nice. We had a room with a view of the opera house. We had shutters on the windows which allowed us to be free of light and noise. The man at reception booked our 5.00am airport transfer for us and this proved to be a smooth way of getting to the airport. Definitely will return here.

Room Tip: Room with Opera view was lovely

Stayed at the Al Viminale Street Deluxe Inn for 3 nights and I can say we really enjoyed it. The room was small but very clean, location was excellent and the building and the elevator old but fabulous. Plus the guys at the reception were really helpful. Don't go anywhere else!
